The Guide

Richard Mitchley is a Welsh speaker with a knowledge and love of Welsh culture that ranges from rugby to strict-metre poetry. His family have lived at Parc-y-gors since the 1950's. He is a qualified Mountain Leader and a life-long amateur naturalist and historian. He has walked all over Wales and trekked in Nepal, India, New Zealand and Europe. In his spare time he earns his living as an actor and presenter.
