Die Küste

Sandige Buchten und die wilde Klippen sind typisch für die Ceredigion und Pembrokeshire Küste. Hier nisten u.a. Austernfischer, Choughs und verschiedene Moewen.

Auch Seehunde ziehen hier ihre Jungen groß und mit ein bisschen Glück können Sie Delfine beobachten.

The glories of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with its spectacular coastal flowers are well-advertised, but north of Cardigan the newly-opened Ceredigion Coast Path offers equally beautiful walking within a few miles of our base at Parc-y-gors. The sandy coves and dramatic headlands of the West Wales coast are largely deserted outside July and August - but only by people: the soaring cliffs and hidden inlets are a haven for birds such as choughs, razorbills, oyster catchers and peregrine falcons. Grey seals abound and you may be lucky enough to see porpoises and dolphins.

Our walks cover the coast from Dinas Head just south of Newport to Newquay in the north, (where boat trips are available to see the dolphins). In addition we often take a day trip to St Davids, Whitesands and Ramsey Island.
