The Coastline
The sandy coves and dramatic headlands of the Dyfed coast are largely deserted outside July and August - but only by humans: the soaring cliffs and hidden inlets are a haven for birds such as choughs, razorbills, oyster catchers and peregrine falcons. Grey seals abound and you may be lucky enough to see porpoises and dolphins. The glories of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are well-advertised, but over the border into Cardiganshire there are equally beautiful cliff-walks to be had within a few miles of Parc-y-gors.
